First Report of Leaf Blight of Jasminum sambac Caused by Bipolaris australiensis in Pakistan

چکیده

During disease surveys of plants in 2021, leaf blight was observed on Jasminum sambac City Housing Society, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Infection spots occurred the margins leaves form large patches both abaxial and adaxial surfaces J. sambac. These began as small necrotic developed into irregular pale brown with black powder covering surfaces. The causative organism consistently isolated from infected potato dextrose agar. Based morphological analysis, species during this research belongs to genus Bipolaris has been identified australiensis.
